What’s awful: Jumping 3 sizes in one go, and planning on stretching to another. Ear damage, blowouts and scar tissue ahoy!

While I’m all for proper stretching methods and stretching safely, assuming they need “fixing” purely because they were stretched quickly is just as nieve as stretching too quickly. Everyone’s ears react differently to being stretched, personally my left lobe was ready to be stretched much more quickly than my right lobe was, so I was able to get my left lobe to my goal size for it weeks ahead of the right lobe.
So while this person may be stretching too quickly, assuming there’s automatically a problem with her lobes because of it is just wrong.
They also didn’t indicate that they were using tapers as jewellery, either. They said they need tapers so that they could continue to stretch, not to leave in. Whether they do or not is up to them, but all you’re doing is making assumptions.
